We are grateful to the four Scout Troops who partnered with our local community over the weekend to collect 3,893 lbs of food, which will allow us to be able to feed about 800 local families in need! We are blessed to be partnered with the Scouts and we are proud of what they are doing for this community.
Our Annual Spaghetti Supper Mission Fundraiser & Auction Night will be held this Saturday, February 8 in Asbury Hall at 6 – 8:30PM! There will be something for everyone, with a live cake auction & and auctioneer, a silent auction, take-out line, door prizes and a kid’s section complete with games, crafts, and a cupcake walk. We even will have gluten free and vegan options. This event is sponsored by Horizon Sunday School and Faith Builders Core Group. All proceeds go to our local and global mission projects so invite your friends or family and join us for an amazing evening! You can buy tickets at the door.
Our Lakewood NEXT course is a great way to learn more about Lakewood Methodist Church! Join our pastors this Sunday, February 9 at 12:15 AM in Founders Court for a combined-session for those wanting to learn more about our church and mission. For this special meeting, we will serve lunch and go over all of the information normally shared in Session #1 & Session #2 in one, combined session! Everyone is welcome to join, including those who want to become members. We hope to see you for this fun and informative seminar, please register by tonight to secure your spot.
We will be gathering in Asbury Hall for another special Worship Night hosted by Gatherhouse! This is an epic praise band, with a huge following, and they are blessing our community once again on Friday, February 21 at 7:00 PM. This is a free event for our congregation, but it is important to RSVP as space will fill up fast – during the last event, there were about 600 people in Asbury Hall! This will be an amazing night of praise and prayer, so please register below.
“On our recent cruise, our group had the opportunity to have worship services with others we met on the trip. Crosses were handed out at one of the services, with a request to either keep it for yourself or give it away if the Spirit called. One of the crosses found its way into the hands of someone experiencing issues at home. For that person, the little cross brought hope of reconciliation.”

Our Matthew 25:35 Food Pantry and First Sunday Pairing volunteers would like to extend a thank you for our congregation’s generous donation of over 188 cans of chili and 90 boxes of crackers this past Sunday! We are beyond blessed by you!
Our Kids Ministry is hiring for two different positions for their talented and caring team. First, they are looking for Summer Interns to help with the summer programming and childcare needs!
