Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story— those He redeemed from the hand of the foe, those He gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.

Refer: Psalm 107:1-3

Dear Lord, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude. Thank You for the promise that if I delight myself in You, You will give me the desires of my heart. Thank You for aligning my heart with Yours, that my deepest desire may be to know You more and serve You better. I trust in Your faithfulness to provide and guide me according to Your perfect will.

4 Delight yourself in the Lord,

and he will give you the desires of your heart.

Refer: Psalm 37:4

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace: Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. (first prayed by St. Francis of Assisi)

Lord, we thank You that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. We are grateful for Your faithfulness in answering our prayers and for the gift of community that allows us to confess our struggles and pray for one another’s healing and wholeness. We ask Your healing blessing upon those among us who are very lonely, for those who are struggling, for those who grieve a deep loss. Show us how to share one another’s burdens and heartache within our one body.  Help us to remain fervent in faith, trusting that You hear and respond to our cries, in Jesus’ name.
