Call to Worship
Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story— those He redeemed from the hand of the foe, those He gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.

Thanksgiving
Lord, we thank You that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. We are grateful for Your faithfulness in answering our prayers and for the gift of community that allows us to confess our struggles and pray for one another’s healing and wholeness. Help us to remain fervent in faith, trusting that You hear and respond to our cries.
Scripture Reading
16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.

Prayer of Intercession
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace: Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. Lord God, please teach us to pray. We ask that you provide us with grace and guide us by Your Word and Spirit, in Jesus’ name.

Lord’s Prayer
Let us close by praying the words that Jesus taught.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
