As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for You, O God.

Refer: Psalm 42:1

Thank You, Father, for Your persistence in pursuing us, despite our wanderings. Thank You, Your love is beyond compare!

14 but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

Refer: Matthew 19:14

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace: Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. (first prayed by St. Francis of Assisi)

Loving God, we praise You for Your steadfast love and for Your promise through Jesus to always be with us! Please forgive us when we live in worry, fear, doubt, or anxiety and when we act like You are no where to be found. Silence the lies within that stir any lack of trust in You.  Enable us “to be still and know that You are God and that You will be exalted!” We joyfully thank You for our Vacation Bible School ministry this week. May every child, youth and adult servant-volunteer celebrate You and Your love in fun and life-giving ways. May all grow to know You, more and more, to Your honor and glory we pray, in Jesus’ name.
