Call to Worship
Ascribe to the LORD, you heavenly beings, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness.
The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD thunders over the mighty waters. The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is majestic . . .
The LORD gives strength to His people; the LORD blesses His people with peace.

Thanksgiving
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your words that tell us to not be afraid, that You are going to prepare a place for each one of us. God’s Kingdom has and is coming near on earth as it is in heaven, right here, right now within us. Jesus, You have given us Your Spirit to be with us forever. He speaks only what He hears from You and He shares it with us! God, You are mysterious and amazing!

Prayer of Intercession
I arise today, through God’s strength to pilot me,
God’s might to uphold me,

Father, watch over the congregation and guests of Lakewood Church. Soften our hearts to hear Your will and way for us. Draw us to hunger for Your Word and thirst for Your Spirit more deeply. Strengthen our pastors, staff, and the laity to do the work of the church with You continually at the center. Heal our bodies and our anxieties that we may reflect Your character to those around us. For Your glory and for more Love in this Your world, we pray in Jesus’ name.

Lord’s Prayer
Let us close by praying the words that Jesus taught.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
