Call to Worship
Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Thanksgiving
Heavenly Father, thank You for teachers and mentors who offer their time and presence to make a difference in a student’s life. We pray for Your wisdom, patience, humility, and love to guide them. May their words build up, their example point to Christ, and their lives inspire others to walk in truth.
As it is written in Ezra 7:10, “For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the Law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach statutes and ordinances in Israel.” Amen.

Lord, I ask your blessings on our teachers and our mentors as they go into the schools and classrooms. You have called them and equipped them. Now send them forth blessed and anointed by Your Holy Spirit. Guide them and protect them as they guide and protect our students.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
