Thanksgiving
Thank You, Father, that You are a refuge for us and we can pour out our hearts before You. May we choose to trust You at all times.

Prayer of Intercession
Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me,
Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down, Christ when I arise,
Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me.

Lord, “Come away with You;” what a gracious invitation! So why do we struggle with this? Why are we prone to be so easily distracted by the insignificant or overwhelmed by day to day matters and make all kinds of excuses for our lack of time spent alone with You? We confess, we often find time for the things that really interest us. Good and gracious Lord, help us; enable us to set our hearts on You, to set our hearts on things above. Each and every day, Lord, lead us to accept Your invitation to come away with You that we may be refreshed and restored, and share the rich blessings of spending extended time with You. Restorer of Souls, just as we are, we come. In Jesus’s name.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
