Thanksgiving
Thank You, Almighty God, for Your eternal faithfulness. Thank You for being with and watching over our loved ones, for being with and watching over all. Thank You that in and through Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit, You are with us always, even to the end of the age.
Scripture Reading
27 For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition that I made to him.

Prayer of Intercession
I arise today, through God’s strength to pilot me,
God’s might to uphold me,
God’s wisdom to guide me,
God’s eye to look before me,
God’s ear to hear me,
God’s word to speak for me,
God’s hand to guard me,
God’s shield to protect me,
God’s host to save me from snares of devils,
From temptation of vices, from everyone who shall wish me ill, afar and near.
–St. Patrick’s Breastplate Prayer for Protection
Lord, we pray today for parents and grandparents. We pray for single parents who are stretched and may constantly be trying to balance daily living. We pray for grandparents who for various reasons, have the responsibility for parenting. We pray that families will dedicate their children to You, Lord, and will remain faithful in praying for them, as well as for the teachers, coaches, and other adults in their children’s lives. We ask that this circle of adults serve as positive role models who refrain from promoting agendas or teachings that conflict with Your values and principles; rather, provide a safe, caring, life-giving environment, free from harm where children are blessed to live and learn as Your children. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus.
As The Spirit Leads
Please continue in prayer for any personal, church, community, nation, or world needs, concerns, or thanksgivings.
Lord’s Prayer
Let us close by praying the words that Jesus taught.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Thank you for joining us in prayer. We hope you join us tomorrow.
The LORD bless you and keep you.
The LORD make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you.
The LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
