Prayer of Intercession

God of the brokenhearted, today we unite to pray for the New Normal Grief Luncheon (on Sunday) and for all in attendance. We pray for Your Presence to be experienced and for hearts heavy with sorrow, loss, sadness and suffering to know Your comfort and Christ’s peace that passes understanding. Lord, by Your Spirit, bless the GriefShare support gatherings; may this ministry be an instrument of Your help and healing to those hurt by the death or separation of a loved one. And Lord, thank You for the gift of having caring people walk alongside together on the grief journey. We pray, in the name of One who was familiar with tears, sorrow, loss and suffering. We pray in Jesus’ name.
