Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Refer: Hebrews 4:14-16

Loving Father, thank You for Your provision. Thank You for blessing us to be a blessing to others. Thank You for generous hearts and compassionate people who seek to serve the least of Your children. Thank You for organizations like Rise Against Hunger, and for those who volunteer to lead and organize our congregation to serve in this capacity.

16 Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.

Refer: Hebrews 13:16

9 Whoever has a bountiful eye will be blessed,
for he shares his bread with the poor. (ESV)

Refer: Proverbs 22:9

11 For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, ‘You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.’

Refer: Deuteronomy 15:11

Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me,
Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down, Christ when I arise,
Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me.
(first offered by St. Patrick, Breastplate Prayer of Protection)

Lord, thank You for the opportunity we have to bless Rise Against Hunger, and local ministries of outreach such as NAM, Cy-Fair Helping Hands, and TEAM. Bless these organizations and make their efforts fruitful. Bless the leaders and organizers, and the volunteers as they go about their work.
