Call to Worship
Ascribe to the LORD, you heavenly beings, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness.
The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD thunders over the mighty waters. The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is majestic . . .
The LORD gives strength to His people; the LORD blesses His people with peace.

Thanksgiving
Thank You, LORD, that our help comes from You and You neither slumber not sleep. You are our keeper, our refuge and strength. We rejoice in Your goodness!

Prayer of Intercession
I arise today, through God’s strength to pilot me,

LORD God, as the Global Methodist Church holds General Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa this week, we pray for You to bring a fresh, anointing of Your Spirit to rest upon and lead all. We pray for wisdom and guidance for the bishops, delegates, and the General Conference Team. We intercede for international church leaders, global congregations and the ongoing spread of the Gospel. We pray, in Jesus’ name, for a deeper move of the Holy Spirit throughout the GMC’s expanding global presence to Your glory and eternal praise. Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful and kindle in us the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit, and we shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
