Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His love endures forever. Let the redeemed of the LORD tell their story— those He redeemed from the hand of the foe, those He gathered from the lands, from east and west, from north and south.

Refer: Psalm 107:1-3

Loving Father, I praise and thank You for Your many blessings, for Your unconditional and everlasting love. May I grow more like You, guided and taught in all I say and do, so that I may do all according to Your will.

18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

Refer: 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace: Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. (first prayed by St. Francis of Assisi)

Lord God, we pray for our congregation, asking that the Holy Spirit fill our hearts with love and bring about spiritual revival, unity, and physical restoration. We pray for members of our Lakewood family who are not able to unite in worship and fellowship due to illness or other circumstances or responsibilities. Strengthen their hearts with the warmth of Your presence, in Jesus’ name.
