Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Refer: Psalm 100:1-3

Almighty God, we thank You for Your protection and guidance. Thank You for watching over our families, our church, and our community. Keep us in Your perfect peace as we follow Your leading.

15 And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. 17 And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

Refer: Colossians 3:15-17

I arise today, through God’s strength to pilot me,
God’s might to uphold me,
God’s wisdom to guide me,
God’s eye to look before me,
God’s ear to hear me,
God’s word to speak for me,
God’s hand to guard me,
God’s shield to protect me,
God’s host to save me from snares of devils,
From temptation of vices, from everyone who shall wish me ill, afar and near.
–St. Patrick’s Breastplate Prayer for Protection

Lord, guide us as we begin new Bible study classes. Bless the facilitators, study leaders and participants. Give us a hunger and thirst for Your word. May a spirit of joy be experienced as together we turn to You through reading and studying Your word. And may Your word become flesh in Your people. Bless the leaders and students in the new Bridge Music Group—music class for K–3rd grade. May every student be blessed to grow in God’s love and have fun while discovering more about God and His Holy Word, in Jesus’ name.
