Call to Worship
Ascribe to the LORD, you heavenly beings, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength. Ascribe to the LORD the glory due His name; worship the LORD in the splendor of His holiness.
The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD thunders over the mighty waters. The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is majestic . . .

Thanksgiving
Thank You, Lord Jesus! You spoke words of light and life in the beginning, and You speak with us as we begin each new day. Thank You for shining Your light into all the shadowy places, leaving nothing hidden, whether it’s in our hearts, our homes, our work, our churches or our communities. Grant us hearts that will praise You completely today.

Prayer of Intercession
I arise today, through God’s strength to pilot me,
God’s might to uphold me,

Father, help us cultivate an attitude that speaks gently and humbly with one another. Bring to our minds Your Word of peace. Remind us to lean into You when our voice sounds angry or whiny even to our own ears. We ask to become more like Jesus, the true image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15).

Lord’s Prayer
Let us close by praying the words that Jesus taught.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
