“The LORD is my rock,
my fortress, and my deliverer.
My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation.
My stronghold, my refuge, and my Savior,
You save me from violence.
I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised;
so shall I be saved from my enemies.”

Refer: 2 Samuel 22:2-4

We rejoice with all of our hearts, for the Lord my God is with us. His love has covered our sins, and He has saved us from the enemy. We will trust in Him with joy and thanksgiving all the days of our lives.

14 Sing aloud, O daughter of Zion;
shout, O Israel!
Rejoice and exult with all your heart,
O daughter of Jerusalem!
15 The Lord has taken away the judgments against you;
he has cleared away your enemies.
The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst;
you shall never again fear evil.
16 On that day it shall be said to Jerusalem:
“Fear not, O Zion;
let not your hands grow weak.
17 The Lord your God is in your midst,
a mighty one who will save;
he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love;
he will exult over you with loud singing.

Refer: Zephaniah 3:14-17

Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me,
Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down, Christ when I arise,
Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me,
Christ in every eye that sees me, Christ in every ear that hears me.
(first offered by St. Patrick, Breastplate Prayer of Protection)

King of Israel, as You rejoice over the people of Lakewood Church because we are Yours, may we experience the joy, peace, safety, and security that come from trusting in You. Draw us closer to You each day, increasing our faith and devotion so our lives may glorify Your holy name. In Jesus’ name, we pray.
