Call to Worship
Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Refer: Psalm 100:1-3
Thanksgiving
Lord God, we thank You for Your provision and care. You have supplied our needs and sustained us through every season. Help us to trust You and to be thankful in all circumstances.
Scripture Reading
1 Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good,
for his steadfast love endures forever!

Prayer of Intercession
I arise today, through God’s strength to pilot me,
God’s might to uphold me,
God’s wisdom to guide me,
God’s eye to look before me,
God’s ear to hear me,
God’s word to speak for me,
God’s hand to guard me,
God’s shield to protect me,
God’s host to save me from snares of devils,
From temptation of vices, from everyone who shall wish me ill, afar and near.
–St. Patrick’s Breastplate Prayer for Protection
Lord, be with all who are traveling back home as the summer draws to an end. As preparations are finalized for a new school year, bless, strengthen, and renew returning teachers and first-time teachers to welcome and receive new students. May this next school year be one blessed by growth and learning, mutual care and respect, new friendships, accomplishments and joy. Cover every school and campus with Your presence and peace. We pray in Jesus’ name.
As The Spirit Leads
Please continue in prayer for any personal, church, community, nation, or world needs, concerns, or thanksgivings.
Lord’s Prayer
Let us close by praying the words that Jesus taught.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
Refer: Matthew 6:9–13
Thank you for joining us in prayer. We hope you join us tomorrow.
The LORD bless you and keep you.
The LORD make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you.
The LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
—Numbers 6:24–26
