Thanksgiving
Our Father, Thank You for providing for our daily bread and thank You for every good and perfect gift we receive. Thank You for countless blessings. We pause to consider Your infinite love and lavish generosity.
Scripture Reading
14 And when Jesus entered Peter’s house, he saw his mother-in-law lying sick with a fever. 15 He touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she rose and began to serve him. 16 That evening they brought to him many who were oppressed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick. 17 This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: “He took our illnesses and bore our diseases.”

Prayer of Intercession
Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me,

God our Provider, we offer our praise for the many ways You have brought healing into our lives, spiritually, emotionally, physically, mentally, relationally. Once we were blind and now we see … in part, only partially able to grasp the magnitude of Your boundless love. That You, Jesus, took our infirmities and bore our diseases is such a mystery to us. We pray for You to touch our souls so that we may increasingly commit our lives to You. Today we unite to pray for those of LMC who stand in need of healing – persons undergoing treatments, spouses or families in crisis, those who battle depression, or struggle with addiction of any kind. For mind, body, and spirit, You know our needs better than we ourselves. In Jesus’ name, send forth Your word; send forth Your healing power and grace. We offer our praise and thanks.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
