Call to Worship
Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Thanksgiving
Gracious Father, thank You for the gift of the earth and the privilege of tending it! What a blessing to grow vegetables, fruit, herbs, with which to feed our family and our community. Bless the soil, the seeds, and the work of our hands. Send the rain in its season, protect the plants from harm, and bring forth an abundant harvest. As You cause our gardens to grow, help us also to grow in faith, patience, love and generosity. May everything produced bring glory to You and be a blessing to others, in the name of Jesus Christ, we pray.

1 Praise is due to you, O God, in Zion,
and to you shall vows be performed.

you atone for our transgressions.

Prayer of Intercession
Christ with me, Christ before me, Christ behind me, Christ in me,
Christ beneath me, Christ above me, Christ on my right, Christ on my left,
Christ when I lie down, Christ when I sit down, Christ when I arise,
Christ in the heart of every man who thinks of me, Christ in the mouth of everyone who speaks of me,

Lord, thank You for the work of the Tomball Community Garden. Bless the hands and hearts of the gardeners. May their harvest overflow to feed families in our communities with Your bountiful goodness and provision.
