Call to Worship
Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands! Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Refer: Psalm 100:1-3

Prayer of Intercession
I arise today, through God’s strength to pilot me,
God’s might to uphold me,
God’s wisdom to guide me,
God’s eye to look before me,
God’s ear to hear me,
God’s word to speak for me,
God’s hand to guard me,
God’s shield to protect me,
God’s host to save me from snares of devils,
From temptation of vices, from everyone who shall wish me ill, afar and near.
–St. Patrick’s Breastplate Prayer for Protection
Holy God, bless our educators, school administrators, and support staff as they greet returning and new students for a new school year. May each classroom be ready not only as a safe and healthy environment for learning, but filled with Your holy presence. Fill each teacher with Your love and grace that she/he takes joy in their calling and reflects You to their students and colleagues. We pray against any spirit of bullying, cyberbullying, judgment, shame, fear, drugs, violence or anything that causes harm. Cover our schools in Your full armor so that Your purposes and intentions for blessing are fulfilled. We pray in Jesus’ name.
As The Spirit Leads
Please continue in prayer for any personal, church, community, nation, or world needs, concerns, or thanksgivings.
Lord’s Prayer
Let us close by praying the words that Jesus taught.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come; Your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
Refer: Matthew 6:9–13

The LORD bless you and keep you.
The LORD make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you.
