Bless the LORD, O my soul! And all that is within me, bless His holy name!

Refer: Psalm 103:1

Thank You, Father, for this new day and the eternal life we have through Jesus in all our days. Thank You that Your compassion is without limit.

13 Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And the man stretched it out, and it was restored, healthy like the other. 14 But the Pharisees went out and conspired against him, how to destroy him.

15 Jesus, aware of this, withdrew from there. And many followed him, and he healed them all 16 and ordered them not to make him known. 17 This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah:

18 “Behold, my servant whom I have chosen,
my beloved with whom my soul is well pleased.

I will put my Spirit upon him,
and he will proclaim justice to the Gentiles.

19 He will not quarrel or cry aloud,
nor will anyone hear his voice in the streets;

20 a bruised reed he will not break,
and a smoldering wick he will not quench,
until he brings justice to victory;

21 and in his name the Gentiles will hope.”

Refer: Matthew 12:13-21

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love, for it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. – Saint Francis of Assisi

Father, we join our hearts, asking that we be people who offer and awaken life-giving hope. By Your Spirit may we provide a word or act that bring people back to life. Please forgive us when our words or actions tear down others, especially those who are struggling. For love’s sake, convict us of our failure to reflect Jesus; kindle in us the fire of Your love, in Jesus’ name.
